10 Random Facts about Me

1. Broken both arms,a finger and toe. Ended up in hospital with concussion. Torn ligaments in my leg and arm. Fallen off the top of a bunk bed, horses, bikes and see-saws. Catapaulted myself off slides.

2. Had a great-grandfather with 9 wives.

3. Walked across the breadth of Singapore with Lethe..one of my dearest and equally crazy friends. 2 days, 500 ice cold drinks and 2 walking sticks later..we made it.

4. Can't whistle.

5. Never had a cavity.

6. Had a pet rooster called henry who pecked the eyes out of our pet rabbit Ribbons.

7. Hate the sound of people coughing up phlegm. (Yes i know i'm a doctor..but it makes me retch!)

8. Call my sisters Noodles and Pooki.

9. Never ate refined sugar or any foods containing it before the age of 13.

10. Worked in an Indian restaurant once. I lasted 3 days.

Back to the reality of work tomorrow..:( Had a fantastic week in Oman..relaxing by the sea in the sunshine with Nadine, watching my freckles multiply. Read loads, slept loads and swam loads! Incidentally, everyone thinks we are twins?! At Nad's new year's eve party last year, 5 (FIVE!!!!) of her friends came and had full-blown conversations with me..mistaking me for my sister. and this was before the wine got flowing! And once Sarah is with us too..people get even more confused! i love my two "mini-me's". Either way..new improved versions of myself. dammit! ;)
